SALT LAKE CITY — Northern Utah’s low unemployment rate and stunning beauty has gained national attention.

U.S. News and World Report named the Salt Lake City metropolitan area — including Ogden, Provo and the cities in between — as one of the top 10 places to live in the country.

The rating is based on a handful of factors, including job market, quality of life, value and desirability. Overall, Salt Lake City earned a 7.1 rating out of 10, making it the No. 10 place to live in the nation.

The area moved up 17 spots from last year’s ranking, according to the Salt Lake Tribune. The list notes Northern Utah offers a good value for housing costs compared to median household income. But that doesn’t necessarily mean those houses are easy to find — Ogden real estate is in high demand, leaving potential home buyers with limited options.Linda Secrist & Associates are the top selling team in luxury homes in the SLC Market.  They have received countless awards over the past 20 years, including “Sales Team of The Year” for over 10 years!  Linda Secrist is in the top 100 Agents in the World in luxury residential real estate.  If you’re searching for homes in Salt Lake, Cottonwood Heights, Millcreek, Draper, South Jordan, Bountiful, Centerville, Farmington or anywhere in northern Utah, Linda Secrist & Associates are the real estate agents to call.  If you’re buying or selling a home, don’t hesitate to call us at 801-455-9999!With the market this hot, don’t wait if you you’ve been considering listing your home!  Call us now at 801-301-6435 and let us give you a home value estimate!Remember – “It doesn’t cost any more to use the very best!”
